You asked for The Foot Map · free
Big toe for the neck. The arch for the lower back. The heel for the very base of it. Fifty large-print pages, with photos of exactly where your thumb goes. Tell me where to send it.
What's inside
Sit down and cross one foot over your knee. Run your thumb slowly along the inside edge of your big toe, near its base — the neck end of the line. Hunt for the spot that stings — that's the one. Stay on it, small circles, one minute. Then the other foot.
With diabetes, look at both feet in good light first and skip any part that has lost feeling. Leave a spot alone if it still hurts after you lift your thumb, or the skin is broken, hot or swollen.
The Foot Map is written by Nguyen Duy Phong, who has studied Vietnamese acupressure for fifteen years. More than 315,000 people follow his work, and he has made more than 500 videos on YouTube.
"Even just 5 minutes is a Godsend." — a reader, on pressing at home and "the relief I am getting"
A reader of 73, with knees she calls "bone on bone", has been pressing her hands for a few months. In her words: "it helps the mind too to be able to do something to help herself feel better."
